The TaskOnPhone Micro Influencer Scholarship Program has generated a lot of questions since it launched. This guide is our attempt to answer all of them in one place — clearly and honestly — so you can decide whether it is right for you before you apply.

What is this program, in plain language?

It is a merit-based scholarship and training initiative. Selected applicants receive structured training on content promotion, social media best practices, and how to participate in digital promotion assignments. Training is provided by Vidyana Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd., an educational partner with experience in digital skills development.

It is not a job. It is not a guaranteed income scheme. It is a training program that, for selected and performing scholars, creates pathways to content promotion assignments through TaskOnPhone.

Who runs it?

TaskOnPhone — India's mobile-first micro-task and content promotion marketplace — runs the program and connects scholars with content assignment opportunities.

Vidyana Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd. — the official training partner — designs and delivers the curriculum that scholarship recipients go through.

Who can apply?

Anyone who meets the following criteria:

This includes students, freshers, homemakers, working professionals, and anyone interested in developing digital skills. There is no requirement for prior experience in influencer marketing or content creation.

The program is deliberately designed for people who are starting from zero. If you already had significant experience and knowledge, you would not need the training.

What is the ₹49 fee?

The ₹49 is a one-time, non-refundable Scholarship Assessment Fee. It covers the cost of the evaluation and screening process. It is disclosed clearly before you pay, and it is the same for every applicant regardless of outcome.

This fee exists for two reasons. First, it covers the administrative cost of evaluating each application properly. Second, it confirms that applicants are serious — a very small fee filters out people who fill forms impulsively but have no genuine interest in the program.

What does the 6-step process involve?

  1. Submit application — fill the Google Form with your basic details and motivation
  2. Pay ₹49 assessment fee — via UPI to the TaskOnPhone UPI ID provided
  3. Complete scholarship screening — a brief online assessment evaluating your motivation and social media familiarity
  4. Merit evaluation — our team reviews all applications; not everyone is selected
  5. Scholarship result — selected candidates are notified via WhatsApp or email
  6. Training and onboarding — selected scholars begin the Vidyana Learning Systems curriculum

What do scholarship recipients actually learn?

What happens after training?

Scholars who complete the training get access to content promotion assignments through TaskOnPhone. These are real brand assignments — not simulations. However, assignment availability depends on platform demand at the time and is not guaranteed. Ongoing participation depends on your performance and reliability.

Will everyone who applies get selected?

No. Selection is merit-based following the screening assessment. Not all applicants will be selected. This is stated clearly throughout the program — on the website, in the application form, and in this article. We would rather be honest about this than create false expectations.

Is there a certificate?

Eligible scholars who complete training modules may receive a certificate of participation from Vidyana Learning Systems, subject to program terms. This is not guaranteed for all participants and depends on completion of the required modules.

Ready to apply?

Applications are open. Merit-based selection. Training by Vidyana Learning Systems. ₹49 assessment fee — one-time, non-refundable.
