How same-day payouts work on TaskOnPhone
When a task you submit gets approved by the business or client, your earnings are immediately added to your TaskOnPhone wallet. From there, you can request a payout to your UPI ID at any time. Payouts requested before 4 PM IST on business days are processed the same day. Requests after 4 PM are processed the following morning.
- Minimum payout amount: ₹100
- Processing time: Same day (before 4 PM) or next morning
- Supported UPI apps: GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and all major UPI-enabled banking apps
- No hidden deductions: The amount you see in your wallet is the amount you receive
Why this matters for Indian gig workers
For a homemaker doing surveys between household tasks, or a student doing data entry between classes, cash flow timing matters enormously. A same-day payout means earnings from Monday morning can cover Monday evening's expenses. This is not a small thing — it is the difference between a gig platform being genuinely useful and being a frustrating exercise in waiting.
We have processed over ₹38 Crore in payouts to workers across India. Same-day processing means that money reaches people when they actually need it.
Which states are covered?
All 28 states and 8 union territories are covered. This includes Tier 1 cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore — but equally Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities including Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Patna, Bhopal, and smaller towns where gig work opportunities have historically been limited.
What about TDS?
As required under Indian income tax law, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) applies to earnings above the applicable threshold. TaskOnPhone deducts TDS automatically where required and provides a TDS certificate at the end of the financial year. Your net payout amount reflects the post-TDS figure.
